  I happened to be staying in Carbondale for work on a Monday night and found out about this place, so I went against my better judgement (Monday generally doesn't have the A-team) and headed here to check it out a bit after 9pm. I've definitely seen worse as far as strip clubs go (the one we have in my home city counts), and it did start out promising despite me being the only male customer at the time; the stage was empty when I first got there, but three girls came out and did their thing up there one at a time. I tipped all of them (and yeah, they did work pretty hard for those dollars), stepped out for a smoke, and when I returned the stage was once again empty. I was halfway through my second beer at that point (once again, had the place all to myself customerwise), and as I was finishing that one of the ladies I tipped came out to refresh her drink; she DID say hi and made about a minute or so of small talk with me across the corner of the bar after I made eye contact with her, but then she just kinda wandered off to the dressing room without even asking me about myself, let alone trying to get me to do a private dance (I probably would have, she wasn't the hottest thing ever but she was kinda cute...) I ordered another beer and waited... And waited... And waited for almost a half-hour for another girl to take the stage or even come talk to me, but no dice; I was down to one swig before three of them (two of them I had tipped, and mind you I WAS THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN!) finally came out to the floor; none of them approached me, so I killed my Bud and left around 10:30.
  
  PROS:
  Beer's cheap for a strip club, cover was $5, the place isn't too shabby on the inside, and the chicks that initially showed up did work pretty damn hard for their tips.
  
  CONS (at least tonight):
  One would think that having a whole strip club to yourself as a customer would be awesome, but apparently the ladies on duty weren't interested in talking to me whatsoever, which is something I find rather insulting; I had quite a few bucks to throw around besides singles, but they all hid in the back after they hit the stage and besides the one who was getting a refill I was left to myself, which I could understand if I WASN'T THE ONLY CUSTOMER IN THE WHOLE PLACE!!!!! I know I'm not THAT unattractive, and other than the creep factor of being in a strip club in the first place I don't see how I could've had these chicks too scared to even leave their safe place in the back.
  
  OVERALL:
  Apparently early on a Monday night is not the time to be here; I'll admit, I did think about going back later that night and even ended up in the parking lot of the place (granted, I was intending to check out J B's but discovered they were closed despite what Google said...), but ultimately I decided to skedaddle back to the safety of my hotel room instead of possibly paying another fiver to get in again. I hope I get sent back down here again when it's closer to Friday; I'm not looking to run this place's name into the mud, but tonight wasn't the experience I was hoping for and I assume it could be better later in the week.
